Calgary, Alberta (November 9, 2018) – ActiveIQ has announced the formation of an Advisory Board and appointment of its members. ActiveIQ’s advisory board is a committed group of tech industry veterans who provide insight & guidance on the strategic direction of the company. Their influence supports and informs decisions that advance ActiveIQ’s mission of making sales and marketing work for B2B industrial companies as well as making advertising and content work for B2B media.
The advisory board members include Arthur Wong, Darby Sieben, and Kelly G’raves.
Arthur is currently the Chief Executive Officer for Global Cyber Security at Singtel, a multi-billion dollar telecommunications company. Art previously served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Security at DXC Technology Company. He also served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Enterprise Security Services at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). He has also founded and managed five technology startups; including IT security companies such as Secure Networks (acquired by McAfee) and SecurityFocus (acquired by Symantec).
Darby is a Ventures Advisor at RBC Ventures, the venture capital arm of Canada’s largest bank. Darby is a digital media and technology professional with over 20 years of experience in various management and executive level roles at both private and publicly traded companies. Previously, he was the Vice President of Strategy & Partnerships at Yellow Pages and was considered an impact leader, who was critical in helping transform the company from traditional print to a digital powerhouse.
Kelly has been successful in a number of entrepreneurial ventures, most notably when he co-founded Net Effects which was later sold to Ask Jeeves. Kelly has a diverse background in entrepreneurship and technology across a range of industries. He has been an Entrepreneur in Residence at Calgary Technologies Inc and also a late co-founder at Pangaea Corporation, a venture capital startup. His experience includes being the Chief Technology Officer of Loa Corporation. He also served as VP of DKW Systems (Western Canada’s largest publicly traded IT firm back then) and a VP at Humana Training Centers.
